Ch. 6 - Consumer Decision Making

Why would anyone want to buy a magazine today, when most of our information received comes from the wonderful world of web?


"VALUE"
The most important factor within whatever decision making. A lasting brand most convince and persuade a consumer to believe that by buying this product would either benefit or contribute to their lifestyle. The need to want this magazine in your hand. The need to pay $4 as a non-subscriber.

What's great about publication is their ability to entertain. Consumers are drawn not to price, but how different is the material and context proposed.

Instyle has developed different branches in which users can intake more information for the cost.
Example: Website/Mini magazine (Comes inside the monthly issue)/Twitter/ Facebook.
